Adopt a Bridge
In a water village there are no roads. The timber boardwalks are how children reach school, how food is carried home, and how anyone gets to a boat in an emergency.
They also fail constantly. Planks rot from below where nobody sees them, and a missing board over open water is a genuine danger — particularly for children and elderly residents walking at night.
This is where our eco-bricks go. Plastic recovered from the shoreline is shredded, pressed, and laid as pathway — the same approach behind the Ocean Debris Pathway, the first of its kind in the country. Waste that was choking the village becomes the surface people walk on.
Sponsoring a bridge funds replacement planks, eco-brick production, and the village crew who lay them. You will receive a short update twice a year showing the stretch your contribution maintained.
